New Armstrong Villas Website in 1 week
Only a week to go until our new Armstrong Villas website will be ready. It's taken a long time but it should be worth the wait! At last we'll be able to add properties for sale quickly and easily.

Black Clouds All Around
Wow,
This credit crisis seems to have brought out the worst in people. I have been forced to change my opinion on some people that I thought were nice, friendly, easy going characters. They have turned out to be rottweilers!
If nothing else, it seems that the current hard times are showing people in their true light. We get to see who our true friends are. When we all get through this mess I hope it's the good, honest people that are left standing.

Underhand tactics
I spent 90 Euro on a lovely sign that I put up on the fence opposite Mar Menor Golf Resort. The sign simply read www.mar-menor-golf-forum.com in large print and, as you can guess, it's purpose was to advertise our new forum for Mar Menor Golf Resort.
I was hoping that the sign would encourage home owners there to sign on to the forum and hopefully stimulate a bit of general discussion about MMGR. Of course, the forum would also include a link to the www.1st-4-villas.com website and give owners the opportunity to advertise their properties for sale or rental.
Well, bad news. someone has taken down my sign. I reckon it has to be one of 3 groups of people.
- The owner of the fence. Unlikely, as there are other signs still hanging on the fence.
- Someone from Polaris World. Not everyone is going to speak lovingly about Polaris World or Mar Menor Golf Resort, so it's possible that Polaris don't want the forum to get off the ground.
- Another estate agent. There are a few other estate agents on MMGR that will do all their power to beat down the competition. They get up to all sorts of underhand tricks and this could have been one of them.
I'm not that easily beaten though. I think I'll get some flyers made up next.

Non Stop Work
Well this week has been non-stop work. We have closed our shop in Lisburn, basically because the downturn in the market and the "credit crunch" have meant that luxury buys like a second home in the sun have been put on the back burner for most people.
We have lost Marian from our Lisburn shop. She has moved on to a new job. She worked for our company for 3 years and will be sorely missed.
It's not the end of 1st-4-Villas but it is a scaling back to our operations that will hopefully allow us to concentrate on our core activities.
